The non-shedding hair of Yorkshire Terriers requires grooming but is very good for any family with allergies to pets. A Yorkshire Terrier’s portable size makes them easy to own. The Yorkshire Terrier has a strong character and very much a toy terrier at heart. Their coat requires weekly brushing, and it does not need as much grooming as other breeds. The petite size of a Yorkshire Terrier makes it a favorite for people who want tiny or "teacup" dogs. Most Yorkshire Terriers puppies are purchased to be spoiled or dress up, but Yorkshire Terrier has a very spunky and lively personality.
